If you like the sea, enjoy being in an idyllic natural environment and good food

GALICIA IS YOUR PLACE.

You can enjoy: Ribeira or Cabo de Cruz in the Ría de Arousa, or Santiago de Compostela, the capital of Galicia and the end of the Way of Pilgrimage of Santiago.

As the Ría de Arousa estuary is the biggest seafood producer in Spain, and Riveira one of the most important fishing ports, it is understandable that the local gastronomy is closely linked to the sea. The flavour is ensured by produce that is guaranteed to be fresh and of quality.

You can feel the weight of history visiting the Axeitos Dolmen, also known as the "Megalithic Parthenon", or the spectacular Castro de Baroña.

With regards to nature, you should visit the Dunas de Corrubedo natural park, with the longest mobile sand dune in the North West of Spain, stretching for more than 1.2km with a height of 15m. There are many spectacular beaches: Vilar, Queiruga, Carragueiros, Aguieira etc. Visiting As Furnas is also a must, where the film "A sea inside" was shot. If we add to this that you can access Salvora Island from Riveira, part of the Atlantics Isles National Park, you can be assured of a natural setting for those who love being in touch with nature.

As for Santiago de Compostela, get ready to enjoy a city, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1985, where the centre holds more than thirty buildings with significant cultural, heritage or architectural interest.

Soon you will enjoy the incredible Old Tow, with its century’s old traditions, its exquisite gastronomy and one of the most important religious pilgrimage sites in the world.

Santiago is not the end of the journey, but the beginning, the beginning of a magical city where tradition flirts with new tendencies, where gastronomy floods your five senses and where magical legends will make your visit an unforgettable one.
